A small apartment scene I did as an example for a lecturing class for Marvelous Designer I held online at SAE Frankfurt.
I focused mainly on cloth simulation for this one, as it was the main subject of the course.
After I finished the class, I decided to put some more work in it and add some details to make the scene even more cozy and it turned into an apartment in a wintery metropole.
Cloth assets were done in Marvelous Designer 9, all the other assets were made in 3DS Max. Texturing was completely done in Substance Painter.
I used baked lighting in UE4 for maximum visual fidelity, as it gave me some nice indirect lighting and soft shadows.
This scene was created within a timespan of two weeks, breaks excluded.
